Measuring Devices: Ketch Boards and Yak Attack Board are the only legal boards for NMBNK.
Electric Motors: are permitted for use in NMBNK events. All state rules/laws for motorized kayaks apply. Failure to comply could result in disqualification.
There will be no off-limit period for the seven regular-season events in 2025. The State Championship will have a 15-day off-limits period for both lakes.
Anglers must be able to submit their photos to our tournament submission application. There will be no manual submissions. TourneyX will be the 2025 tournament submission application.

Membership Process
Each Angler must buy a B.A.S.S Membership, and currently the cost is $15 a year.
Bass Nation dues are $30 dollars per angler, per year. If you are in more than one club, these only get paid once per year to your primary club.

The Director (Matt Ramey) will reach out to you directly for Bass Nation Dues.
Each angler is required to have an insurance waiver on file with the NMBN.

April 26th Colorado City Roadrunner - Qualifier 3
This event is being held in conjunction with the West Texas Kayak Fishing Trail. We greatly appreciate them allowing us to tag along and create a double-dip opportunity.
This means that West Texas Kayak Fishing is hosting a Colorado City Roadrunner tournament, and NMBNK will also host an event but follow the WTKF rules and regulations.
Registration for these events is separate on tourneyX and optional. This means you do not have to fish the WTKF event, but it is encouraged.
NMBNK Event - Following ALL West Texas Kayak Fishing Rules and Event Information. The event information will be updated once WTKF releases its roadrunner event information.
Legal Lakes- J.B. Thomas, Colorado City, Champion, Sweetwater, and Oak Creek.
