New Mexico Bass Nation Kayak Series
New Mexico Bass Nation Kayak exists so kayak anglers can enjoy the competitive atmosphere that tournament fishing offers. The NMBN Kayak series is being run by, and for, the kayak anglers as a self-contained entity. The 2023 season will consist of 4 qualifying events and a State Championship. All details regarding the first two qualifying events can be found on tourneyX under rules/details and here on the website. At the end of the season the top ten percent of anglers will receive qualifications to the Bassmaster Kayak National Championship in 2024.

Tournament Overview
It is the angler’s responsibility to read and understand the rules for NMBNK. Event details are in TourneyX under the description section.
Mandatory that all contestants attend the pre-tournament check-in and pre-tournament briefing. (Rules Section 2, TourneyX details for times)
NMBNK Series is a catch-photo-release series. (Rules Section 12 and 13)
Each qualifying event is a single day tournament.
NMBNK series has an off-limit period and official practice period (Rules Section 4.)
TourneyX will be the 2023 tournament submission application for an anglers catch. (Rules Section 14)
Registration for each event will be done through TourneyX which requires a service fee that is separate from the cash entry fee for the event.
Entry fee for the event is $70 cash due the morning of the event.
All kayaks, SUPs, vessels may be human or electric powered. (Rules Section 8)
AOY standings will be the total combined points of the 4 qualifiers and the state championship. (Rules Section 17)
Membership Process
Each Angler must buy a B.A.S.S Membership, and currently the cost is $15 a year.
Bass Nation dues are $30 dollars per angler, per year. If you are in more than one club, these only get paid once per year to your primary club.
