This page is intended to help plan and coordinate the fish habitat improvement efforts at Elephant Butte Reservoir.  All activities must be in compliance with the permit issued by the Bureau of Reclamation.  Please don't jeopardize this awesome opportunity by breaking the permit.

 Below,  New Mexico Game and Fish brought us some Juniper cuttings to enhance existing Juniper stumps that are over 100 years old.

The only areas allowed for Artificial structures are Rock Canyon, Double Canyon, Pumphouse Cove and the Jungles. 
Do Not put any in Ash Canyon because they might end up at the dam when the lake drops.
We must have an insurance certificate for all activities so call Earl first.
