Mission Statement - New Mexico Federation Nation Junior Bassmaster Program

The mission of the New Mexico Federation Nation Junior Bassmaster Program is to promote and encourage youth fishing through education of fishing ethics, sportsmanship, fishing techniques and conservation of our natural resources. Through this program we will strive to develop life skills in young people while educating them to exercise leadership and support for responsible recreational fishing and stewardship of aquatic resources.

2008 Junior Photos Junior Anglers Brady Fourr and Seth Garrision show off their big fish. Junior State Champions E.J. King and Seth Garrision at the 2006 Junior World Championship meet Rick Clunn, Kevin Van Dam and Dion Hibdon. Cole Bingham in the 15-18 age-group and J'Ray Cox in the 11-14 age-group share the title of 2008 State Junior Champions. Both are headed for the Divisional Tournament in Idaho on Coeur d' Alene and the Harrison Chain of Lakes. The will compete on May 17th in an attempt to qualify for the Federation Nation National Championship in Kansas this fall. 2008 is a double season for the Junior Bassmasters and their will be two Junior World Championships the winning anglers will share the title of 2008 Junior World Champion. Two contenders will advance to the the Elite Series JWC in Syracuse New York. Jordan McMorris in the 11-14 age-group and Chase Rahm in the 15-18 age-group. 2007 JWC pairings Banquet. Seth Garrision meets his Pro Kevin VanDam and Jordan McMorris pairs with Mike McClelland. E.J King takes to the water with Davy Hite at the 2005 JWC. Cole Bingham heads out with his Pro Edwin Evers.
